Is Tweed a Safari alternative on iPad?
Tweed can be your everyday browser on iPad. It uses WebKit, the same engine as Safari, so sites render as they do there. What differs is the layout around the page: a sidebar of pins, groups, and Spaces in place of a tab strip.
- Bring your bookmarks, reading list, and history over from Safari in Settings › Import and Export.
- Make Tweed your default browser, so links from other apps open in it.
- Tabs, pins, groups, and Spaces sync through your own iCloud, with no Tweed account.
