What data does Tweed collect?

Tweed has no analytics or tracking and doesn’t send your browsing data to its developer.

Tabs, groups, bookmarks, Spaces, and history stay on this device, and also in your iCloud account if iCloud Sync is on (it’s on by default).
What you type in the address bar, except web addresses, is sent to your search engine (Google by default) to show search suggestions. Turn off Search Suggestions in Privacy & Data to stop this.
If a website’s own icon can’t load, Tweed asks DuckDuckGo or Google for it using only the site’s domain. Icon and suggestion requests include no cookies.
Page translation runs on your device with Apple’s translation. Feedback is sent by email only when you send it.
